How to buy airtime

  1. 1Open the app at app.vtopup.ng and log in.
  2. 2Tap Services in the bottom menu, then select Airtime.
  3. 3Choose your mobile network (MTN, Glo, Airtel, or 9Mobile).
  4. 4Enter the phone number to recharge — yours or someone else's.
  5. 5Select an amount or type a custom amount.
  6. 6Review the summary and enter your Transaction PIN to confirm.
  7. 7Done. Airtime is credited to the number instantly.

Save the phone number to your Saved Contacts for even faster top-ups next time.

How to buy a data bundle

  1. 1Open the app and go to Services → Data.
  2. 2Select your mobile carrier.
  3. 3Browse plans by tab: Hot Deals, Daily, Weekly, or Monthly.
  4. 4Tap a plan to select it — price, size, and validity are shown clearly.
  5. 5Enter the phone number to activate the data on.
  6. 6Confirm the order and enter your Transaction PIN.
  7. 7Data activates on the phone immediately after confirmation.

How to fund your wallet

  1. 1Tap Wallet in the sidebar (desktop) or bottom navigation (mobile).
  2. 2Press the Fund Wallet button.
  3. 3Select a payment method — card or bank transfer.
  4. 4Enter the amount you want to add.
  5. 5Complete the payment on the secure Paystack checkout screen.
  6. 6Your wallet balance updates instantly after payment confirmation.

Setting up your Transaction PIN

  1. 1Go to Account from the bottom menu or sidebar.
  2. 2Tap Security or PIN settings.
  3. 3Choose a 4-digit PIN you can remember.
  4. 4Confirm the PIN by entering it a second time.
  5. 5Your PIN is now active and required for every transaction.

Your Transaction PIN protects every purchase. Never share it with anyone — vTopUp staff will never ask for it.

Using saved contacts for faster top-ups

  1. 1Go to Account → Beneficiaries.
  2. 2Tap Add Contact and enter the phone number and a label (e.g. 'Mum', 'Office SIM').
  3. 3Save the contact.
  4. 4Next time you buy airtime or data, select from your saved contacts instead of typing the number.
